Eduardo Silva Pereira

Eduardo Silva Pereira is an experienced Engineering Manager currently leading the Fluent open source development team at Chronosphere since January 2024. Eduardo's extensive career includes roles as Project Maintainer for Fluent Bit since May 2015 and Founder & CEO of Calyptia Inc., where Eduardo specialized in scalable data ingestion solutions, including the development of Calyptia Core. Previous positions include Principal Engineer at Treasure Data, where Eduardo contributed to Fluent Bit and Fluentd, Project Leader & Developer at Duda I/O and Monkey Project, Senior Software Engineer at Oracle, and various development roles during two terms in Google Summer of Code. Eduardo holds a degree in Computer Sciences from IP DuocUC and a CCNA certification from Inacap.
