Matt Meier

Matt Meier has a diverse and extensive work experience in sales engineering, leadership, and software development. Matt is currently working at Chronosphere as a Sales Engineering Leader. Before that, they served as the VP of Sales Engineering at Explorium, where they recruited and led a diverse team and collaborated with various teams to exceed revenue goals. Prior to that, they worked at AppDynamics, starting as a Senior Solution Engineer and progressing to become Director of Sales Engineering. At AppDynamics, they recruited and led teams, supported internal growth initiatives, and focused on talent development.

Before joining AppDynamics, Matt worked at EY as a Digital & Emerging Technologies Architect and Engineering Manager, where they led architecture and software development teams, implemented global cloud and eCommerce replatforming projects, and contributed to the growth of the Digital Commerce practice. Matt also gained experience at Deloitte Digital as a Hybris Technical Lead & Solution Architect, leading teams to deploy eCommerce solutions and defining architectural systems strategies.

Matt's earlier experience includes roles at Razorfish, Acquity Group/Accenture Interactive, CITES OnSite, JPMorgan Chase, and Exelon. At Razorfish and Acquity Group, they implemented eCommerce solutions, performed load/stress testing, and provided technical solutions to clients. At CITES OnSite, they provided computer technical services, troubleshooting desktop problems, and performing software installations. Matt also had internship experiences at Exelon and JPMorgan Chase, where they gained hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools, UNIX administration, scripting, and IT support concepts. Matt Meier has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Hybris Commerce Architecture and Hybris Core Platform from hybris software in January 2015 and August 2014 respectively.
