Sean Walker

Sean Walker has a long and impressive career in software engineering. Sean started their career in 1996 as an Applications Programmer at Visual Interface, Inc. In 1998, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Sensor Based Planning Lab. In 2000, they were an Software/Hardware Engineering Internship at Tiqit Computers. In 2007, they were an SAT Instructor / Tutor at Revolution Prep. In 2008, they were a Textbook Editor at CK-12 Foundation. From 2009 to 2016, they worked at Hansen Medical in various roles, including Sr. Controls/Visualization Software Manager, Software Manager, Software Verification Manager (Interim), Staff Visualization Engineer, and Senior Controls Engineer. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Senior Software Manager at VytronUS, Inc. and is currently a Director of Software Engineering at Chronus Health since 2022.

Sean Walker obtained a B.S. in Computer Science and a Minor in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University between 1995 and 1999. Sean then went on to Stanford University where they obtained a PhD in Computer Science from 1999 to 2009.
