John Ntonta currently serves as a Community Engagement Connector at the Institute on Community Integration, where efforts focus on fostering equitable relationships with community stakeholders to enhance research impact. Additionally, John holds the position of Mentor at the African Diaspora Network and is the Founder of the Kadiwaku Family Foundation, which supports individuals with disabilities in Congo through self-employment initiatives. As a member of the CHS Steering Committee, John's expertise contributes to improving humanitarian aid effectiveness. Recognized as a 2018 Fellow by Echoing Green and recipient of the 2019 Social Entrepreneur Award from SOCAP, John has demonstrated a commitment to social entrepreneurship and the advancement of sustainable development goals. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from Housatonic Community College.
