Mark de Ridder

Mark De Ridder is a distinguished academic and medical professional with extensive experience in oncology and palliative care. As a Full Professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel since 2008, Mark De Ridder has held multiple leadership roles, including President of the Medical School and President of the department of Clinical Education. Concurrently, Mark De Ridder has been affiliated with UZ Brussel since 1998, serving as Coordinator of the Oncology Care Program and Head of the Radiotherapy and Palliative Care Department. Mark De Ridder also held positions such as Vice chairman of the board of directors and Vice President of the medical council. Additionally, Mark De Ridder has been leading Palliative and Supportive Care at CHU Brugmann since April 2015.
