Paulo Eduardo Simonetti has a strong and extensive work experience in operations and management roles in the food and beverage industry. Paulo Eduardo began their career at Nestlé Brasil, where they held various positions including Production Manager, Quality Engineer, Deputy Production Manager, and Site Engineer. Paulo Eduardo then worked as an Industrial Manager at SPF do Brasil before joining Mabel Alimentos S.A. as the Head of Operations, overseeing multiple production sites and managing various departments. Later, Paulo worked at PepsiCo as an Operations Manager, responsible for multiple production sites and a large number of employees. Currently, they are working at Barry Callebaut Group as the LATAM Operations Director, managing manufacturing sites, supply chain operations, engineering, and HSE for the Latin American region. In September 2020, Paulo was promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Asia Pacific market at Barry Callebaut Group.

Paulo Eduardo Simonetti has a diverse education history. Paulo Eduardo completed their Master's degree in Production Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP) from 2004 to 2007. In 2002 to 2004, they also pursued a Specialist degree in Business Administration from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa. Prior to that, Paulo received their degree in Chemical Engineering from USP from 1988 to 1992.
