Leigh-Ann Bezuidenhout

Leigh-Ann Bezuidenhout has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as VP and Controller at Chubb Tempest Life Re since March 2015, following a role as AVP at the same company. Leigh-Ann's leadership extends to the position of Chairman of the Bermuda Charter for SAICA CA(SA) since January 2014. Prior roles include Chief Accountant and Vice President of Finance at Butterfield Group from June 2010 to March 2015, and Audit Senior Insurance at KPMG Bermuda from May 2008 to May 2010. Earlier in the career, Leigh-Ann worked as an Audit Supervisor at PKF South Africa. Academic qualifications include a B.Com Honours in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Finance, Taxation, and Audit from Nelson Mandela University, along with a B.Com degree from the University of Port Elizabeth, encompassing subjects such as Accounting, Auditing, Management Accounting, and Economics. Educational foundation was laid at Cradock High School.
