Omar Iqbal

Omar Iqbal is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Counsel in the Global Legal division and Senior Claim Director at Chubb since May 2017. In this role, Omar Iqbal analyzes insurance coverage and manages litigation related to securities fraud, fiduciary liability, M&A, IPO litigation, and SEC investigations. Previously, Omar Iqbal worked at London Fischer LLP from January 2007 to December 2014, advising insurance companies on complex liability claims and handling issues involving multiple insurers. Additionally, a judicial externship at the California Court of Appeal provided experience in evaluating legal briefs and research. Omar Iqbal holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a JD, cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
