Rainer Kirchgaessner is currently the EVP, Global Corporate Development Officer at Chubb. Rainer has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Rainer started their career at McKinsey & Company as a consultant focusing on German and European insurance and banking clients. Rainer then moved to J.P. Morgan where they worked as a vice president in investment banking for financial institutions, specializing in transatlantic and cross-border transactions. After a few years at Deutsche Bank as a director in investment banking for insurance/financial institutions, Rainer joined GE Capital in 2006 as a director, responsible for origination and execution of M&A transactions in commercial finance and related financial services businesses.
In their current role at Chubb, Rainer is responsible for leading the company’s global mergers & acquisitions and business development activities.
Rainer Kirchgaessner has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Henley Business School and a Diploma in Business Administration from the Cooperative State University Karlsruhe in Germany. Rainer's focus is on strategic analysis.
