Yuta Kano

Yuta Kano has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Yuta is currently serving as a Director at Eavor Technologies Inc. from October 2022 onwards. Prior to this, they held various roles at Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. such as General Manager of the Clean Energy Solution Unit in the Global Business Division and Senior Manager of International Business Development. Yuta also served as the General Manager of Business Strategy in the Business Planning Office of the Power Network Company. At Chubu Electric Power Co., they held the position of General Manager of Business Strategy in the Business Planning Office of the Power Generation Company. Before that, they worked as the General Manager of the Energy Resource Investment Department at JERA. Yuta Kano also gained experience at several director-level positions at Chubu Electric Power Co. subsidiaries, including Ichthys LNG Pty Ltd, Chubu Electric Power Ichthys Pty Ltd, Chubu Electric Power Exploration Pty Ltd, Chubu Electric Power Integra Pty Ltd, and Chubu Electric Power Australia Pty Ltd.

Yuta Kano completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Aoyama Gakuin University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Management from the International University of Japan, completing their degree from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, in 1999, Yuta participated in the MBA Program at the University of Washington as part of an international exchange program.
