Michael M. Smith

Attorney Michael Smith joined Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. as vice president, secretary and general counsel, in June 2017. Smith provides strategic direction and counsel for all corporate legal activities nationwide.

Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in economics-mathematical emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992 and a master’s degree in human resources and labor relations from UW-Milwaukee in 1993. He earned his juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School in 2001, where he also served as associate editor and member of Marquette Law Review.

He attends Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison, Wisconsin.
