Todd Bloomquist

Todd Bloomquist serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary for Beam Suntory, a world leader in premium spirits. He is responsible for leading the company’s global legal affairs, including oversight of strategic transactions, litigation, intellectual property, corporate governance, compliance and risk management initiatives. He also serves as Corporate Secretary for the Beam Suntory Board of Directors.

Bloomquist joined the Beam Suntory Legal Department in 2011, serving as Deputy General Counsel and Associate General Counsel before his promotion to General Counsel in 2018. Previously, he was a Partner in the M&A, Securities and Corporate Governance practice group at Winston & Strawn LLP, a global law firm headquartered in Chicago.

Bloomquist received a B.A. in Business Administration and Psychology, magna cum laude, from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He earned his J.D., with high distinction, from The University of Iowa College of Law and was a member of the Iowa Law Review.

Bloomquist and his wife, Erin, reside in Chicago.
