Dean Of The Cathedral at Church of the Redeemer

Dan Alger is an accomplished leader in the Anglican Church with extensive experience in church planting and pastoral roles. Currently serving as Dean of the Cathedral at the Church of the Redeemer since January 2022, Dan previously held the position of Canon For Church Planting with the Anglican Church in North America until July 2024 and served as Church Planter/Pastor at the Anglican Church of the Redeemer from October 2012 to April 2019, where efforts focused on establishing a new church in the Hamilton Mill area near Buford and Dacula, GA. Dan's prior roles also include Canon for Church Planting in the Anglican Diocese of the South and Director of Communications and Equipping for Anglican 1000, where responsibilities encompassed developing training curriculum for church planters and managing communication strategies. Dan's educational background includes a Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Bible from Trinity Anglican Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
