Steven Hebbard is an experienced agricultural and community leader with a diverse background in sustainable farming and education. Since December 2021, Steven has served as Farmer Deacon at the Church of the Redeemer. As Specialty Crop Manager at Stiles Farm Foundation since August 2018, Steven has focused on specialty crops, while also acting as Director for Region 2 of the Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association since February 2012, where responsibilities include creating programs for organic growers and fostering sustainable agricultural policies in Central Texas. Additionally, as Genesis Gardens Program Manager for Mobile Loaves and Fishes since June 2009, Steven facilitates an agricultural skills training program for a community of formerly homeless individuals. Previous roles include Farm Director at the Multicultural Refugee Coalition, Board Member at Imagine Art, and a stint as a Farm Intern at Boggy Creek Farm. Steven began a career as a teacher and technical specialist, with academic credentials including a Master's in Communication and Culture from Trinity Graduate School and a Bachelor's in Media Studies from Azusa Pacific University.
