Bill Veghte

Bill Veghte is an operating partner of Churchill with extensive management and operating experience in the consumer and enterprise technology sectors. Mr. Veghte is the Founder & CEO of Athene Partners, a U.S.-based advisory & investment company that partners with CEOs and investors of technology companies to accelerate their growth and transformations. In his 30 years in the technology industry, Mr. Veghte has served in a wide range of roles from engineering leader to sales leader, COO to CEO, Executive Chairman to EVP at some of the most successful and fast growing companies and businesses in the technology industry. He has served the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Hewlett-Packard Company Enterprise Business from 2013 to 2015 and Chief Operating Officer of HP from 2012 to 2013. He served as CEO and Director of SurveyMonkey. Prior to Hewlett- Packard, Mr. Veghte spent nearly two decades at Microsoft, in engineering, sales and general management. He led Windows engineering and the Windows business. He lead the Server business. He led Microsoft’s North American Sales, Services and Marketing that accounted for nearly 50% of the profitability of the company at the time. He has served in a variety of boards of public and private companies.
