Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith, SHRM-CP has extensive work experience in human resources management. Jennifer currently holds the position of Senior Director of Human Resources - CDI Benefits at Churchill Downs Incorporated, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Human Resources-Twinspires at the same company from September 2022 to July 2023. Jennifer's experience also includes being the HR Director at Nazareth Home from January 2002 to September 2022. Before that, they worked as an Operations Manager at SHPS in 2001 and as an HR/Benefits Manager at Trimac Transportation from August 1991 to September 2001.

Jennifer Smith, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General from the University of Louisville. Jennifer has also pursued further education by obtaining the SHRM Learning System CP/SCP certification from Bellarmine University. Additionally, Jennifer obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in May 2019.
