Amelia Dearman

Amelia Dearman is currently a Churchill Fellow 2023 at Churchill Fellowship where Amelia is investigating how to better prepare the UK for extreme heat. Prior to this role, Amelia held various positions at Wellcome Trust, including Government Relations Senior Adviser covering government relations in the Americas region and the UN General Assembly. Amelia has also worked as a Policy and Advocacy Advisor and Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer focusing on UK/EU research policy and advocacy. With a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology from The University of Sheffield, Amelia has experience at organizations like The Royal Society and Cancer Research UK.
