Alvaro Jover-Alvarez has a diverse work experience in software development, primarily focusing on gameplay and network programming. Alvaro started their career as a Software Engineer at 3D Perception Lab in 2018, where they worked on projects like UnrealROX and The RobotriX. Alvaro then moved to Frontwire Studios in 2016 as a Gameplay and Network Programmer, where they managed a team of volunteer programmers and used advanced networking optimization techniques for game development. Moving on to Barcelona Supercomputing Center in 2019, they served as a Junior Research Engineer, contributing to various projects for the European Space Agency. Alvaro'smost recent role is Lead Gameplay Programmer at CI Games, where they now lead the gameplay programming team.

Alvaro Jover-Alvarez pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat d'Alacant, graduating in 2019. Alvaro then continued their education by completing a Master's degree in Innovation and Research in Informatics with a focus on High Performance Computing at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2019 to 2021.
