Maple Tam

Maple Tam has over 20 years of work experience in human resources. Maple started their career at Microsoft in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Maple then joined Gap Inc. from 2004 to 2006. After that, they worked at CIBC Mellon, where they held various roles including Senior Manager, Director, AVP, and VP of Talent and Relationship Management in the Human Resources department. Most recently, Maple served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at CIBC Mellon starting in 2017. Additionally, they co-led the 2014 United Way Campaign at CIBC Mellon, raising over $341,000 and achieving significant employee donation participation growth. Overall, Maple has a diverse background in human resources, with a focus on talent and relationship management.

Maple Tam pursued an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto from 1993 to 1998. In 1998, they attended Seneca Polytechnic and obtained a degree in Human Resources Management. Later, they enrolled in the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and completed an Advanced Program in Human Resources Management from 2007 to 2008. Furthermore, they earned their MBA from the same institution's Rotman School of Management between 2009 and 2011.
