Nia Garron

Nia Garron currently serves as a Board Member at Peel Children's Aid since June 2023. With over 17 years of experience at CIBC, Nia has held various roles, including Director of Regulatory Compliance for Secured Lending & Creditor Insurance, where independent advice on regulatory compliance issues is provided. As Director of Real Estate Secured Lending - Alternate Channels & Strategic Initiatives, Nia leads strategic initiatives to enhance mortgage products and coordinates complex projects across departments. Prior roles include Director of Mortgage Products and Group Product Manager for Real Estate Secured Lending, where responsibility for product management and client service optimization was emphasized. Earlier roles at CIBC Mortgages Inc. and CIBC Mortgages included positions in marketing and operations. Nia is currently pursuing further education at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, building on a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Philosophy from York University.
