Lee Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lee started their career as an HR Officer at Canning Vale Weaving Mills in 1999. Lee then moved on to Industrial Recruiters, where they held the position of On Site Controller, overseeing recruitment and general HR functions for field employees. In 2001, Lee joined SKILLED Group, where they took on various roles including Operations Supervisor, Executive Technical Professionals, Branch Manager, WA Mining Services Manager, and Productivity & Transformation Manager Western. During their time at SKILLED Group, they implemented process improvements, managed profit and loss, and led recruitment teams. In 2010, Lee joined TSS Westaff as a Mining Operations Manager before transitioning to ATIVO Maintenance & Project Services as the Strategic Projects Manager. In 2017, they joined TSS Immigration as the General Manager, responsible for business development and commercial management. Lee's most recent role is with CIBT, where they currently serve as the Vice President of Business Development for the APAC region. Throughout their career, Lee has demonstrated expertise in business development, project management, and strategic planning.
Lee Smith received a Bachelor of Business degree from The University of Notre Dame Australia in 1997. In 2010, Lee completed the Foundations of Leadership program at Melbourne Business School. In 2018, Lee obtained a certificate in Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, Lee earned a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from the Australian Institute of Management in 2007 and completed an Executive Development Course at the same institute in 2005. Lee's secondary education took place at Kolbe Catholic College from 1991 to 1994.
