Amaia Arruabarrena Aristorena is a highly experienced researcher currently serving as Group Leader at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea since January 2023, while also holding the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at CIC bioGUNE since September 2020. Previously, Amaia contributed as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from November 2016 to August 2020. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (2012-2016), a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2010-2011), a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine and Biotechnology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2008-2010), and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (2005-2008).
