Julian Joy is an experienced architect and public servant, currently serving as a West Sussex County councillor for Chichester West since May 2021. As the Managing Director of Joy Architects Ltd since January 2018, Julian has led various architectural projects. Julian also acts as a Design Quality Assessor for the NHS with CIC Construction Group, engaging stakeholders to support business case approvals. Previously, Julian held significant roles, including Director of Health Services at Capita Real Estate and Infrastructure, Healthcare Director at ESA Architecture, and Regional Director at both Hunters and JMA. With a strong foundation in healthcare architecture, Julian initially founded Cadre Architects and held the position of Associate Partner at PFW. Julian holds a postgraduate diploma in Architecture from London South Bank University and has a robust educational background from Chichester College and Chichester High School for Boys.
