Me-Cem Axel Centeno Torres

Axel Centeno Torres, ME-CEM, currently serves as a Project Engineer at CIC Construction Group since January 2023. Prior to this role, Axel worked as a University Professor/Instructor at the College of Engineering - UPRM from August 2021 to January 2023, teaching courses focused on the Applications of Information Technology in Civil Constructions as well as various topics related to sustainable infrastructure. Additionally, Axel gained experience as a Teaching Assistant for multiple courses, including Information Technology for Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure and Sustainable and Resilient Design and Construction. Axel holds a Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, completed in December 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution, earned in 2021, along with a minor in Integrated Practice in Civil Engineering and Architecture. Academic foundations were further laid at the University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo through an Articulated Transfer Program in Civil Engineering.
