Kelly Sullivan, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Purdue University and later at the University of Louisville, where they managed laboratory functions and conducted research. In 2017, they served as a Quality Control Microbiologist at Ceela Naturals. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of Lab Director & Compliance Manager at Utopia Cannabis. In 2020, they joined PUREXTRACTS as a Product Development Scientist and Acting Compliance Director. Kelly then moved to Curaleaf in 2021, where they took on the roles of Lab Director and Director of Compliance & Research. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Lab Operations at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center).

Kelly Sullivan, PhD, has a comprehensive education history in the field of biochemistry. From 2009 to 2015, they attended Purdue University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at Cornell University. Additionally, during the same period from 2006 to 2008, they obtained an Associate of Science - AS degree from Tompkins Cortland Community College.

In terms of certifications, Kelly Sullivan has acquired a range of additional qualifications. Furthermore, they hold the ETS Certificate for MEP from ExtractionTek since January 2020 and the Cal-OSHA 30 Hour General Industry qualification from OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District since November 2019. Lastly, Kelly Sullivan obtained the Food Safety HACCP for Retail Food Establishments certification from 360training in October 2019.
