Dan Amonett

Director of Safe at Home at CICOA

Dan Amonett is currently the Director of Safe at Home at CICOA. Dan has previously worked as the Program Director at Prevent Blindness Indiana, an English Instructor in Mersin Turkey, a Development/Assistant Instructor at IT TRAINING AND EDUCATION, INDIANA UNIVERSITY, and the U.S. Library Program Specialist at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Dan has also served as the Human Development Director at the Community Alliance of the Far Eastside.

Dan Amonett has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, a Master of Arts in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Ball State University, and a Master of Arts in Gerontology from Ball State University. Dan is certified by the FSSA State of Indiana as a Certified Case Manager and by the National Association of Home Builders as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS).

Dan Amonett reports to Tauhric Brown, President & CEO. They work with Karren Brooks - Director of Way2Go, Kelsey Stinson - Director of Data & Research, and Lisa Schneekloth - Chief Compliance Officer.
