Igor Magalhães

Igor Magalhães has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and entrepreneurship. Igor is currently serving as the Analytics Engineering Tech Lead at Cidadania4u, where they manage analytics engineering processes. Prior to this role, they worked as a Data Consultant at Magal Data Analytics, where they created data strategies and set up data warehouses for companies of all sizes. Igor also worked as an Analytics Engineer at Firstbase, where they developed a data strategy and computed various KPIs using Python, SQL, and APIs.

Before entering the data analytics field, Igor held several roles in the entrepreneurship sector. Igor worked as an Ambassador/Lead Ambassador at Campus Mobile, where they gave talks and workshops on various entrepreneurial topics and wrote eBooks on the entrepreneurship process. Igor also founded and managed two startups, Minu and We Search, where they structured the businesses, managed teams, and developed the MVP platforms.

In addition, Igor gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at Programa de Engenharia Biomédica - COPPE/UFRJ. Here they assisted a study on predicting adverse reactions in breast cancer patients using genotypical and phenotypical characteristics.

Igor Magalhães earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School of UFRJ, which they pursued from 2018 to 2021. Following this, they enrolled in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro to pursue a second Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, starting in 2021. In addition to their academic qualifications, Igor obtained a certification in Campus Mobile in February 2019.
