Derek C. Church

Derek C. Church has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Scientist in Process Chemistry at Cidara Therapeutics since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California San Diego from March 2018 to June 2021. Derek C. also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington from 2010 to 2017, where they pursued their PhD in Chemistry. In addition, Derek worked as a Research Assistant at CARBOGEN AMCIS in 2008.

Derek C. Church completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry at the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued their higher education at the University of Washington, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry between 2010 and 2017.
