Gabriela Hernández

Gabriela Hernández, MBA, CCDM has over 20 years of experience in clinical data management. Gabriela currently works at Cidara Therapeutics as the Manager of Clinical Data Management. Prior to this, they held the role of Sr. Clinical Data Manager at the same company.

Before joining Cidara Therapeutics, Gabriela worked at Covance as a Clinical Data Manager II (Principal CDM) and later as a Clinical Data Manager I (Sr. CDM).

Gabriela also gained extensive experience at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions (Previously INC Research/inVentiv Health), where they held various roles including Principal Clinical Data Manager, Senior Clinical Data Manager, and Clinical Data Manager II. In these roles, they led complex Oncology studies, coordinated global staff, provided training, tracked metrics, and participated in process improvement initiatives.

Prior to their work at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions, Gabriela worked as a Compliance Officer and Secretary at NSHMBA.

Earlier in their career, they worked at PPD, where they served as a Clinical Data Manager I and Clinical Data Associate I, II & III. Gabriela acted as a Lead Data Manager, liaised with clients and colleagues, performed data cleaning activities, and ensured compliance with study guidelines and SOPs.

Gabriela started their career at Calsonic Kansei Mexicana as a Materials Planner, where they scheduled and procured imported materials, managed inventory, and coordinated engineering changes.

Overall, Gabriela Hernández has demonstrated a strong track record of success in clinical data management and has worked in various roles and responsibilities throughout their career.

Gabriela Hernández obtained an MBA from the University of Phoenix from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Polymers at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí from 1996 to 2000. Gabriela also attended Austin Community College, although the specific dates and degrees obtained are not provided. In addition to their education, they hold certifications in SAS Programming 1: Essentials from SAS, obtained in July 2021, and they are a Certified Clinical Data Manager from the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM), obtained in August 2008.
