Caroline Maas

Caroline Maas has 20+ years’ experience in international education, and has been with CIEE since 2012, for four years as the Regional Director of Operations for Northern Europe and Global Institutes, and since 2017 as the Vice President for Global Operations, overseeing 65 CIEE locations in 40 countries. Having herself participated in college study abroad, in Grenoble, France, her mission in this role is ensure that international teams design and deliver highest-quality, life-transforming experiences to 15,000 outbound participants each year.

Caroline earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and French from Boston University, and an MBA from the Moore School at the University of South Carolina. She worked for more than ten years with EF Education First, both in the U.S. and in Europe, in leadership roles in marketing, administration, and operations. Prior to that, she was with Harvard University, supporting communications and development for Harvard University’s Villa 1 Tatti, in Florence, Italy.
