Jerry Wojtowicz

Jerry Wojtowicz is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in hardware engineering across multiple companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Ciena since January 2023, Jerry previously co-founded Tibit Communications, Inc., where from June 2014 to January 2023, Jerry led the hardware development of pioneering products like the first pluggable 10G EPON and XGS PON SFP+ OLT. Between March 2010 and May 2014, Jerry held the position of Technical Director at Broadcom Corp., overseeing the design of customer reference boards and verification platforms for EPON and GPON applications. Earlier in Jerry's career, from April 2002 to March 2010 at Teknovus, Inc., Jerry established the hardware engineering department and led a team in developing various EPON reference and test boards. Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba, completed in 1995.
