Luís Rodrigues

Luís Rodrigues has a diverse work experience starting in 1996 as an Assistant Professor at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. From 1997 to 1999, they worked as a Process Engineer - Robotics at GROUPE RECOMATIC. In 2005, they joined CIFIAL as a Technical Manager, later becoming the General Manager in 2008 and a Board Member in 2010. Currently, Luís Rodrigues serves as the CEO of CIFIAL, a position they have held since May 2019.

Luís Rodrigues completed a Licentiate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 1990 to 1995. Luís then pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Machinist Technology/CNC Machinist at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Lean Certification from LeanOp in 2016, Effective Project Management from CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement in 2005, Especialização em Gestão Industrial (CEGI) from INEGI driving science & innovation in 2001, as well as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) certifications from KUKA in 1998 and ABB in 1997.
