Somesh Chandra

Somesh Chandra is currently the COO of International Health at Cigna Healthcare, overseeing Total Health & Network, Global Service Operations, Data & Analytics, and Information Technology for International Health markets since November 2022. Prior to this role, Somesh served as CEO of Employee Benefits at AXA and held various senior positions including Chief Health Officer & Business Head of Digital Health for AXA Group, where responsibilities included managing the health business across major European markets and leading a strategic partnership with Microsoft. Previous experience includes roles at Max Bupa as COO & CQO, directing operations and driving significant business growth, as well as leadership positions at Religare Enterprises Limited, McKinsey & Company, CSC India, and Tata Consultancy Services, culminating in a diverse career focused on healthcare, technology, and operational excellence. Somesh Chandra holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from Bangalore University.
