Mark Mobley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 2021, they began working as the Program & Client Success Manager at Cignition, where they developed and implemented a new data reporting model that led to internal reporting changes across all sites. From 2012 to 2019, they served as the District 4 City Councilman for the City of Jefferson, GA, where they had oversight responsibility for a $22,000,000 budget and was part of a council that enacted five millage rate reductions over seven years. In 2019, they became the Executive Director at Center Point GA, Inc., where they proposed and negotiated new contracts for mentoring services with Gainesville City Schools and led the successful transfer of their Recovery Community Organization to a new 501c3. From 2018 to 2017, they worked as a Consultant at Empower Consulting Agency, where they researched, designed, and wrote a nonprofit program blueprint design for a client. From 2015 to 2014, they were the Executive Director at Georgia CALLS, where they led the staff, Board, and employment partner through a mission realignment and established new partnerships for recruitment. In 2014, they worked as a Consultant at VoiceNation, where they led a team to develop a comprehensive job/life skill curriculum for a nonprofit venture. From 2004 to 1997, they served as the Senior Pastor at The Jefferson Church, where they guided the church to recovery and growth after the suicide of the previous pastor and created three new children's ministries. Finally, from 1997 to 1994, they worked as an Instructor/President and Associate Pastor at Free Chapel, where they led the service experience and leadership teams.

Mark Mobley has a Master's of Education from the American College of Education, obtained in 2021. Mark also holds a B.S. Ed. from The University of Georgia in Secondary Mathematics Education, and a Certificate of Achievement from The University of Georgia in Municipal Leadership, obtained in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained a Teaching License-Standard from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission in June 2021, and a TechSmith Camtasia 2021 Explorer from TechSmith Corporation in October 2021.
