Mark Whitehouse

Mark Whitehouse has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Mark is currently the Chief Financial Officer at CILEX. Prior to this, they served as a Non Executive Director at Severn Valley Railway. From 2019 to 2022, Mark held the position of Executive Director Finance at Avanti West Coast. Mark also worked at Virgin Trains, where their roles included Executive Director Finance, Head of Finance, and Finance Controller. At Cadbury plc., Mark served as the Head of Global IT Finance and IT Finance Controller, among other roles. Mark began their career at Deloitte, where they worked as an Assistant Audit Manager.

Mark Whitehouse attended King Edward's School in Birmingham from 1990 to 1997. Mark then went on to study Maths with European Studies at the University of Durham, St John's College, from 1997 to 2001. Finally, they pursued their professional qualifications in accounting, obtaining ACA and FCA from ICAEW between 2001 and 2004.
