Eric Banks is a fintech pioneer with over a decade of experience in the fields of Fintech, Blockchain, and Bitcoin. As a Fintech Specialist, Eric has gained extensive expertise in researching, mining, and trading virtual currencies, and played a key role in introducing one of the first Bitcoin ATMs to Silicon Valley. Eric's contributions to the fintech community extend through several leadership and fellowship roles with organizations such as StartingBloc, One Young World, and the Kairos Society. With a solid educational background that includes a Master's degree in Business Management from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from McMaster University, Eric also co-founded Boinck, a platform that enables micro-payments of Bitcoin for social impact. Additionally, Eric's previous experience includes roles at RBC and Aveta Business Institute, further enhancing a diverse skill set in finance, marketing, and programming.
