Sophie Lafrance

Sophie Lafrance is an accomplished Environmental Professional and Biologist with extensive experience in fisheries, wildlife surveys, and environmental assessments. Currently working at CIMA+ since March 2022, following the merger with Bowfin Environmental Consulting, Sophie assisted in diverse ecological projects, including fish habitat descriptions, amphibian surveys, and turtle assessments. Previous roles include Fisheries Technician at Trout Unlimited Canada, where 21,400 fish were rescued, and Junior Biologist at Groupe Conseil UDA Inc, overseeing fish inventories in Northern Quebec. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Ecosystem Restoration from Niagara College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Ottawa.
