Steve Gluck

Dr. Steve Gluck is an Operating Partner at Cimbria Capital. He is based in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Gluck joined Cimbria Capital in 2019 with the purpose of expanding the firm’s technical due diligence capacities and assessment for innovative water and wastewater technology. Dr. Gluck serves as a direct advisor to Cimbria Capital’s investment team and also serves as a potential board member for certain Cimbria portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Cimbria Capital, Dr. Gluck worked for 36 years at Dow Chemical Company where he led the R&D team efforts for new business development in the Dow Water and Process Solutions division. He is also a highly respected consultant delivering technical analysis, market intelligence, and commercial pilot strategies to emerging companies in the water and wastewater industry. Dr. Gluck serves as technical and board advisor to O2 Environmental and Bluetech Research, the Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute, and seven companies in the wastewater treatment industry.

Dr. Gluck is the author of water and wastewater related 29 publications, and the holder of 4 granted patents and several active patent applications. He served as President of the Instrumentation Testing Association for 8 years. Dr. Gluck received a BS in Chemistry from Whitworth University, an MS in Chemistry from the University of Idaho, and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Leipzig.
