Torbjørn Hergum

Torbjørn Hergum has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. Torbjørn started their career at NTNU as a PhD and Post. Doc, where they worked until 2011. Following this, they joined Aurotech Ultrasound As as a Development Engineer, focusing on the development of a general-purpose ultrasound scanner. In 2013, they transitioned to Archer - the well company as a Researcher. After four years, they moved to NTNU as a Researcher, where they worked until 2019. From 2017 to 2021, Torbjørn worked as a Senior Engineer at AUROTECH ultrasound AS. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Engineer at Cimon Medical, starting in 2020.

Torbjørn Hergum completed their education, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Imaging, from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1999 and 2009.
