Paul McKinlay has over 25 years of experience in communications and human resources. Paul is currently the Vice President of Communications & Remote Working at Cimpress. Paul has also held senior positions at Vista, Triffid Communications, and 8twenty6 Communications.

Paul McKinlay began their career in 1995 as the Head of People Development & Internal Communication at Asda Stores Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for training & development and communications for Asda's 140,000 employees. In 2005, they left Asda to start their own communication consultancy, 8twenty6 Communications. At 8twenty6 Communications, they led a internal cross-brand communication programme of private equity retail holding group Maxeda across six European countries. In 2007, they sold 8twenty6 Communications and started another communication consultancy, Triffid Communications. At Triffid Communications, they led communication, engagement and change projects for blue chips such as Lloyds Banking Group, Bupa, Somerfield, Harrods, and Fortis. In 2010, they sold Triffid Communications and joined Vista as the Snr. Director, Global Communications. Paul held this position until 2014 when they joined Cimpress as the VP of Communications & Remote Working.

Paul McKinlay has a BA (Hons) in Retail Marketing from the Manchester Metropolitan University. Paul also has certification from LinkedIn in Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues and Unconscious Bias. In addition, they are a certified OKR coach from WorkBoard Inc. and a certified member of the Institute of Internal Communications.
