Rohit Rao

Rohit Rao is an experienced software engineering professional currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at Cimpress since November 2021, where responsibilities include leading an R&D team in India and driving initiatives for 3D configurators and "Virtual Try On" technology for apparel. Prior to Cimpress, Rohit held the position of Architect at GEP Worldwide from June 2019 to November 2021 and served as Lead Software Engineer at VFS Global from April 2018 to June 2019. Between August 2010 and March 2018, Rohit progressed through various roles at Metacube Software Pvt Ltd, including Associate Team Lead, Technology Analyst, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer, contributing to requirement analysis, architecture, design, and the software development lifecycle. Rohit began their career as a Software Engineer at Star Technologies, Jaipur, from May 2008 to July 2010. Rohit holds a Bachelor in Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Rajasthan, obtained between 2004 and 2008.
