Experiences Developer III at Cinchy

Dominic Aquilina has a diverse work experience in various roles. Dominic is currently working at Cinchy as an Experiences Developer III since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ShopLiftr as a Senior Developer from January 2021 to November 2022, and as a Front-End Developer from September 2017 to January 2021. Dominic also served as a Front-End Web Developer at Local Line from September 2015 to September 2017. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer, taking on projects for different companies in the KW area from October 2012 to September 2015. Dominic was also a Developer at Cavera Inc. from March 2014 to July 2014.

In addition, Dominic has experience in hardware design as they worked as a Hardware Designer at Touch Tech Inc. in September and October 2012. Unfortunately, the project they were involved with had to be put on hold due to funding constraints.

Furthermore, Dominic has experience in software development as a co-op student. Dominic worked as a Software Developer at Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre, Community Geomatics Centre from May 2011 to August 2011, where they focused on accessible web design and best practices. Dominic also worked at the same organization from September to December 2010, upgrading applications and developing extensions for GIS applications.

Additionally, Dominic worked as a Programmer in the Blister Games Team at REAP - Research Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program in 2011, and as a Software Developer co-op student at BSM Wireless from January to April 2010. Overall, Dominic Aquilina has gained comprehensive experience in software development, web development, and hardware design through their various roles.

Dominic Aquilina obtained a BaSc in Computer Engineering with Co-op and Honours from the University of Waterloo. Dominic attended the university from 2009 to 2015. In addition to their degree, Dominic Aquilina has also obtained several certifications. Dominic completed the "RxJs Masterclass" at Ultimate Courses in November 2022 and the "RxJs Basics" course at the same institution in December 2021. Dominic also completed the "Rails for Zombies Redux," "Shaping up with Angular.js," and "Surviving APIs with Rails" certifications at Pluralsight in September 2015.
