Omar Ramos

Omar Ramos has extensive work experience in the field of technology and data solutions.

Omar currently works at Cinchy as a Customer Solutions Architect, starting in September 2022.

Prior to this, Omar worked at FoodX Technologies as a Solutions Architect, from June 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for leading the technical implementation of the Azure SaaS warehouse Grocery Management System, conducting workshops with clients and third parties, and understanding the Azure solution applications layout and data flows.

Before joining FoodX Technologies, Omar worked at igeckoo for over a decade. Omar held various roles, including Operations Leader / Data Solutions Architect from August 2018 to January 2021, Technical Project Manager / Data Solutions Architect from August 2016 to July 2018, Sr. Data Management Consultant from August 2013 to July 2016, and Oracle Applications DBA and Platform Migrations Consultant from June 2010 to July 2013. In these roles, Omar demonstrated their expertise in leading teams, managing projects, identifying opportunities, and implementing data solutions for clients.

Omar also has previous experience at Mars, where they worked as an Application Analyst from November 2008 to June 2010. In this role, they supported, developed, and improved local applications and handled Oracle database analysis and PL/SQL troubleshooting.

Omar Ramos obtained their Engineer's degree in Information Technology from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they participated in a study abroad semester at the University of Manitoba, also focusing on Information Technology. Additionally, in 2006, they took a Technology Commercialization Course at the University of Alberta.

Furthermore, Omar has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In January 2021, they became Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals through Microsoft. In December 2020, they achieved the Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Associate certification from Oracle. Prior to that, in November 2020, they completed the Data Science: Decision-Making with Predictive Analysis program offered by Tecnológico de Monterrey. In April 2020, they received a Data Mining Diploma from Integratek México. Additionally, in April 2019, Omar obtained the Management Skills - Leader of Leaders certification from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Lastly, in September 2018, they became an Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate through Oracle.
