Michael Taylor has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Michael started their career in 1974 as an Executive for the State of Illinois and worked there until 1987. Michael then served as the Chief Operating Officer for Upjohn HealthCare Services, Inc. from 1987 to 1991. After that, they worked as the Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Glasrock HealthCare Services for British Oxygen Company from 1991 to 1992. From 1993 to 1994, they were the Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer at American Transitional Hospitals, Inc. Michael then moved to ARAMARK and held the position of President & Chief Operating Officer from 1994 to 1998. After that, they joined Catholic Health Partners, where they held various leadership roles, including President/Executive Vice President from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where they held the positions of Vice President, Payor Relations from 2002 to 2006, Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management from 2007 to 2019, and currently serves as the Vice President, Strategic Pricing & Reimbursement from July 2019.

Michael Taylor received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance/Strategic planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Government from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 1966 to 1970. Michael also holds the certification of Fellow in the Health Financial Management Association.
