Maggie Kelly has a diverse work experience in the museum and library sectors. Maggie started their career at the Cincinnati Museum Center in 2012 as a Seasonal Specialist and then joined the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County as a Page in 2015. In 2015, they returned to the Cincinnati Museum Center as a Program Specialist for the Cincinnati History Museum. Maggie then held various roles at the museum, including Specialist, Vikings: Beyond the Legend and Specialist, Program Development and Delivery. Maggie later became the Assistant Manager, Special Exhibits, and then the Manager, Featured Exhibits. Most recently, they served as the Director, Featured Exhibitions Operations and is currently the Director, Museum Engagement at the Cincinnati Museum Center. Prior to their museum work, they worked as a Receptionist at St. Teresa of Avila from 2008 to 2012.
Maggie Kelly earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and the Public with a concentration in International Studies (Europe) from Xavier University in 2012. In 2014, they completed their Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Public History and Cultural Heritage from Trinity College, Dublin.
