Shannon Lapoint Boyle

Shannon LaPoint Boyle is a seasoned professional in the museum and heritage sector, currently serving as the Manager of Guest Services at the Cincinnati Museum Center since January 2021. With experience as the Group Tour & Waterfront Coordinator for the THAMES RIVER HERITAGE PARK FOUNDATION INC from April 2019 to January 2021, Shannon successfully developed historic boat and walking tours while expanding group tour business revenues. Previous roles include Historical Consultant at Harvey & Lewis Opticians, where research and writing contributed to a comprehensive institutional history book, as well as Public Program Facilitator at the New England Air Museum, focused on educational outreach. Shannon also gained internship experience at Mystic Seaport and Fort Ligonier Museum, showcasing a strong background in historical research, event coordination, and visitor engagement. Shannon holds a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History/Anthropology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
