Thomas Hase

Thomas Hase has an extensive work experience in the field of lighting design. Thomas started their career in 1989 as a Resident Lighting Designer at The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, where they worked until 2002. In 1994, they became the Owner of Hase & Associates, Ltd, a company they still hold. At the same time, they also served as the Kunstlerische Leiter Der Beleuchtungsabteilung (Artistic Director of the Lighting Department) at Stadttheater Giessen in Germany from 1994 to 2006. Since 1997, Thomas has been the Head of Lighting and Resident Lighting Designer at Cincinnati Opera.

Thomas Hase attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1981 to 1985, where they focused on studying History. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Cologne in 1982 and completed their education in 1988, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
