Eric Knorr

Substitute-extra Musician at Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra

Eric Knorr is an experienced musician and educator with a diverse background in trumpet performance and music instruction. Currently serving as the Orchestra Librarian for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and an Artist in Residence in Trumpet at the University of Dayton, Eric also performs with the UD Faculty Brass Quintet and instructs various music courses. Additional roles include being an Adjunct Instructor for Jazz and Commercial Trumpet, a Substitute-Extra Musician for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and the Founder and Principal Trumpet of Oakwood Brass. Eric has held teaching positions at multiple institutions, including Sinclair Community College and Central State University, and has a robust educational background, holding degrees from The College of Wooster, The University of Akron, and the University of Cincinnati.
