Ixi Chen

Ixi Chen is a distinguished musician and educator with extensive experience in various facets of the music industry. As the Founder and Co-Director of Digital Clarinet Academy since October 2019, Ixi Chen emphasizes the importance of wellness, career, productivity, and skill development for clarinet players. Additionally, Ixi Chen founded Music360 in March 2019, focusing on coaching musicians to enhance their purpose-centered work in wellness and performance. Serving as the Artistic Director of concert:nova since September 2006, Ixi Chen leads a creative ensemble dedicated to engaging audiences through innovative musical experiences. Ixi Chen's academic contributions include the role of Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati since September 2004. Furthermore, Ixi Chen is a clarinetist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra since 2001. Ixi Chen's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the Manhattan School of Music.
