Leslie Hoggatt

Leslie Hoggatt is the Director of Individual Giving & Donor Services at Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Leslie has been in this role since September of 2018, and in the field of development and fundraising for over 15 years.

Leslie began their career as a Sales Associate at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., but found their true passion working in the development office of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra as their Development Associate from 2006-2008. In this role, Leslie cultivated relationships with donors and managed various aspects of their giving. It was during this time that Leslie realized their talents and skills lay in working with donors and supporting their philanthropic goals.

In 2008, Leslie took a position as Membership Manager at WBHM, a public radio station in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, Leslie worked with thousands of individual members and was responsible for managing all aspects of their membership, from renewals to soliciting gifts. During their three years at WBHM, Leslie helped to raise over $650,000 - 50% of the station’s annual budget.

In 2011, Leslie returned to the world of symphony orchestras when they became the Director of Individual Giving at The Center for the Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, Leslie was responsible for managing the individual giving and gift club programs for annual fund support, including direct mail, electronic solicitations, donor cultivation and donor communication vehicles. Leslie also actively managed a portfolio of individual major donors and prospects ranging from annual fund gifts below $1,000 to major donors of $25,000 and above.

Leslie has been with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra since September of 2018, where they currently serve as their Director of Individual Giving & Donor Services. In this role, Leslie manages all aspects of the CSO’s individual giving program and is responsible for stewarding and cultivating relationships with donors.

Leslie Hoggatt has a BM in Flute Performance and a BA in Arts Administration from Butler University. Leslie is also a 2015 graduate of Hamilton County Leadership Academy. Leslie is certified by CFRE International in CFRE Certification.

Leslie Hoggatt works with Bhavya Nayna Channan - Corporate Relations Manager, Penny Hamilton - Philanthropy Assistant, and Crystal St. Jacques - Institutional Giving Coordinator. Their manager is Mary McFadden Lawson, Chief Philanthropy Officer.
